Green Tea beverage which is native of India and China , has being consumed daily by East Asian people from centuries. But recently got popularity in United States because of it’s various health benefits.

Tea is consumed in the world at a very large scale and it is the most consumed beverage in the world after the water, over 78% of consumption is of Black Tea and 20% consumption is of Green Tea.

Green tea is very less processed type of tea, because it helps to remain it’s antioxidants. It is made from the unoxidized leaves. Green tea is very rich in it’s antioxidants and with benefits of Polyphenols.

Green tea is made from plant Camellia Sinensis , the leaves of this plant are dried and brewed afterwards.

  1.  Green Tea Prevents Type 2 diabetes – Studies have shown that green tea helps to lower down the risk of Type-2 diabetes rather than who doesn’t consume green tea. Green tea contains powerful antioxidants called Polyphenol, which does helps in anti-inflammatory, lowering-chloestrol and anti-cancer benefits.

Also helps to reduce Oxidative stress and widening of arteries which eventually helps to decrease blood pressure, and prevents clotting. All of these reduce disease of heart, which is related to diabetes.
